Be part of the workshop — not just in it.

People keep asking how they can help Wood Sisters grow. Here are three real ways — and every one of them is a fair trade, not a favor. You bring something, you get something back, and we agree on it upfront.

— Why We Don't Call This Volunteering —

Volunteering belongs to charities. We do trades.

Wood Sisters is a small, independent business — so asking people to work for free wouldn't be honest, and honesty is the whole point of this brand. Instead, everything on this page works like the workshop bench does: you give something real, you get something real back.

Wood Sisters exists to open tools and trades to women, girls, and FLINTA* people. The crew is open to anyone who wants to help build that — the exchange is always agreed in writing before you start, so nobody has to guess.

— Three Ways In —

Pick the trade that fits what you're good at.

01

Create with us

For photographers, filmmakers, and writers: capture real workshop stories so more people find us. In return you get free workshop seats, published credits, and portfolio pieces from a space most creators never get into.

02

Refer a client

Know a team, school, or organization that should book a workshop? Make the intro. When the booking closes, you receive 10% of the booking value — as a commission or workshop credit, confirmed in writing before you refer anyone.

03

Join the workshop crew

Help set up, guide participants, and pack down on workshop day. In return you attend the workshop free, get real tool-time, and learn how a session is actually run — from the inside. The crew who keep showing up are the first we ask when a paid assistant spot opens.

— How It Starts —

Three steps, nothing formal.

01

Write us

Use the form or email info@wood-sisters.com. Two sentences are enough: which of the three ways interests you, and what you'd like to bring.

02

We talk

You will be contacted for a short call or a coffee. We figure out together whether it fits — for you and for Wood Sisters.

03

We agree the trade

Whatever we settle on — seats, credits, commission — goes into a short written note before you start. That's the whole deal.

The Bench Has Room
