Carve with Berlin Wood Sisters.
We're a Berlin workshop teaching thousands of people — teams, companies and complete beginners, with FLINTA at the heart of it — that making beautiful things with your hands is closer than you think.
Woodcarving is our favourite way in. It's calm, it's tactile, and it asks nothing of you but a little patience. We'll be right there with you for your first spoon.
The first spoon is never perfect — and that's exactly the point. You finish it holding proof that you can make things with your hands.

Do I need any experience?
None at all. The whole session is designed for a first-ever spoon. Your teacher walks you through grip, safety and every cut, live.
When do I book the live class?
Whenever suits you. Your class is included free with the kit — once your box arrives, you choose a live session from the available times. No deadline, no rush.
What's in the kit?
Carving knives in a branded knife roll, a ready-marked spoon blank, a sharpening stone, strop and honing compound, protective gloves, and finishing oil — all in a gift-ready box. The tools are yours to keep and use again and again.
Is it safe? I've never used a carving knife.
Yes. The very first thing you'll learn is how to hold the knife and control every cut, and the kit includes protective gloves. Carving is calm and deliberate — we start slow and safe.
