Weekend Retreat · Small Group

A weekend to make something slow.

Wood Sisters is taking spoon carving out of the studio and into nature — a small weekend retreat to slow down, work with your hands, and carve something you’ll keep.

Two unhurried days of green-wood carving in good company. No experience needed — just a knife, a piece of wood, and the time to enjoy it. You’ll learn to shape a spoon, care for your tools, and find the quiet rhythm that makes carving feel like a reset.

Eight hand-carved wooden spoons arranged in soft daylight

The Weekend

Two days. One spoon. A slower pace.

Carve by hand

Green-wood spoon carving from the very beginning — knife skills, wood, and the little tricks that make it click. Come as a complete beginner.

Everything provided

Tools, wood, guidance and good food. You leave with a spoon you carved yourself — and a slower nervous system.

A small circle

Just eight people, in nature, no screens. Unhurried, warm, and beginner-friendly from the first cut.

Why It’s Worth It

Time with your hands is time away from the noise.

Working with wood is a quiet kind of therapy — it slows the mind, steadies the hands, and leaves you with something real to hold. A weekend of it, in nature and good company, is a proper reset.
